Remembering and Celebrating

Bernard Clarke

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to this beautiful man, who has been the most amazing father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather, uncle, brother, son. “Bernie” was beloved by all who have known him, and will be sadly missed. We are eternally grateful for his love, encouragement, support, laughter, his charming smile, kindness, wisdom, and for all of the sacrifices he made so his family could have a better life.  A man of courage, determination, deep faith, and boundless love for his family, who adore him in return. Thanks, Dad/Pappa, for all you have done for Maureen, Ian, Judy, Rick, Carey, Chris, Michael, Christopher, Amanda, Brooke, Madison, Hunter, Cooper, Dani, Michael, Dominic and Ella. We love you more than words can say, and will miss your dear presence every day. God bless and keep you.

Friends and family, please join us at 12:10pm on Saturday, October 7th, for a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick’s Parish, 2060 Haultain Street, Victoria, BC V8R 2L7.  The Mass will be followed by a reception in the Parish Hall to celebrate and honour a life well lived.

    Dear Family, friends of Bernie:

I worked with him at the ferries, I was in the coffee shop at the time before going to the ship. He truly was a barrel of fun, his infesting laughter, and his hard work, everyone took notice of this great man who so enlightend our lives so much. Bernie, I will miss you, but will remember all the good times at the ferries. God speed, dear, Bernie.
