I am sorry to come across this news. Martin was an Outward Bound instructor of mine in 1969 (might have been 1970) when I was 16. It was a life altering course without a doubt. I have since been an Outward Bound instructor myself, having worked over 20 multi-week courses in OB and similar programs. I wish I had made the effort to convey to him the influence he had on my life. To the family I offer my condolences, I am very sorry for the loss this must be

Dear Mary, James, Richard and families.

I am sorry to hear of Martin’s passing. I will always remember him as a wonderful story teller with a good sense of humour. Martin was kind to my children and a good grandfather to Hugo and Jeffe. My thoughts are with you all at this sad time.

    Sincerely Barbara
