He is survived by his sister, Ruby Law and family of Quesnel, BC; sister, Hazel Bendall (Dave) and family of Victoria, BC and Auntie, Lola Wagar of Viking, Alberta. He moved with his family to Victoria in 1942.
Delbert worked for many years at the DVA hospital. He liked gardening and always shared his bounty with his neighbours. He loved cats and country western music. Del could often be found with his guitar singing at Willows beach and entertaining at care facilities and legions.
Special thanks to the caregivers at Selkirk Place, 3rd and 6th floor. You were so kind and caring to him.
We’ll miss your songs, Delbert, keep on singing.
