    Dear Sandra, Tim and families,

I have very fond memories of your Mom and Dad dating back to 1959 when I first arrived in Victoria. In fact, they were the first friends of Tom’s that he introduced me to. They hosted many great parties on Dunnett Cres. during their time there which we thoroughly enjoyed. Our friendship continued throughout the years which was something that I cherished.
My condolences to all the family. Cherish the happy memories of your Mom/Grandmother. In that way she lives on with you forever.

    Love, Lois

I have known Diana for years as her mother and my mother (Marjorie Goodland) were good friends. Diana and I were born within 4 months of each other.
The first few times I visited her in Sunrise, I would take a photo of our Grade 1, 2 and 3 class at the Normal/Model School. Her memory of those years was amazing. She could name almost all of the students in the photo. Then one time she wasn’t so sure even of her own picture. When the time came that she didn’t know me any more, I’m sorry to say I stopped visiting.
So, Sandra and Tim, thank you for putting Diana’s obit in the Times Colonist. I had been wondering about her. Lots of love, Kathie Mallett
