Frank passed away peacefully at Royal Jubilee Hospital on August 16, 2016 surround by his loving wife and family. He leaves behind: son, Andy (Denise), two daughters, Kelly (Brian), Paula (Tom), four grandchildren, Christina (Jesse), Marlysse (Trey), Sara (Dwayne) and Grace, great-grandchildren, Alexander and Kaelyn, and sister, Nezka in Germany and brother, Ignac in Slovenia.
Frank was born in Slovenia on September 29, 1934 and immigrated to Canada in 1958. He opened his business Dominion Ceramic Tile which he ran for most of his life. He will be remembered for his kindness and love of his fellow people. Frank will be missed by his many close friends and family who played a special part in his life. We would also like to thank the doctors and nurses who cared so well for him.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, on Monday August 22nd at 12:00 pm, with entombment to follow at Royal Oak Mausoleum. A reception in the Sequoia Centre will follow the entombment.

Frank, you were the rock that grounded Christina in her early years when no one else was around. For that I am very grateful.
Christi would always asked for tea and toast after coming home from a visit with you,I thought it was gross cause she would dip the toast in the tea. I would ask her what she was doing and she would say with a smile on her face, “that’s what grandpa and I always do”. Still grosses me out.
I will always remember the warm smile and hugs you gave me when we would meet on that rare occasion, you always made me feel like part of your family.
I hope we see each other again and you can teach me how to like tea and toast.
