Gwen died very suddenly in Victoria, BC on October 3, 2016. She was born in Victoria, BC on August 23, 1925. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard; parents, Elizabeth and Thomas; her sister, Violette (Earl); her brother, William (Audrey) and her brother-in-law, Albert. Survived by her loving sister, Janet; nephew, Thomas (Vikki); nieces, Betty-Ellen (Sam), Gwendolyn, Deborah, Susan, Elizabeth (Donald), Marguerite and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was employed 30 years at Victoria Box and Paper/Price-Daxion from 1957. She then enjoyed many happy years of retirement with her beloved family and friends. She will sadly be missed.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, at 1pm on Friday, October 21, with a reception to follow. A Visitation will take place before the service from 12 Noon to 12:30 pm.
