Kind, generous, wickedly smart and a feminist before her time. Hedy was a force to be reckoned with and the world is a lesser place without her. She died peacefully in a sunlit room on July 9 after a short battle with cancer.

Predeceased by husband Ray (February 5, 2001), she will be deeply missed by daughter Jennifer, son-in-law Dave, granddaughter Jordan and extended family.

Memories of her sharp wit, sense of humour, sage advice and scrumptious meals will never fade.

A private Celebration of Life will be held in Hedy’s hometown of Lipton, Saskatchewan in late August.

Condolences and memories can be shared with the family below.
