Peacefully on May 14th, Hugh completed his race with a confident and sure faith in his Saviour. Born in 1916, he lived the majority of his life in Victoria, marrying Claire (nee Cresine) and enjoying 65 years of marriage until her death in 2013. Hugh’s memory will be cherished by his children, Irene (Peter), Wendy Cartwright (Phil), and Bruce Smith (Carol); his six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and countless friends and relatives.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 2 pm at the Church of Our Lord, 626 Blanshard Street, Victoria, BC.
