Born in Castor, AB, Jim passed in Shawnigan Lake, BC on January 31, 2018. Predeceased by his daughter, Linnie in 1985 and his wife, Ida in 2009. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Margaret (Norman); son, Scott (Ann); five grandchildren, Virginia, Alanna, Kaitlyn, Keegan and Sarah; great-granddaughters Ashley and Dakota and great-grandson, Archer.

A very, very special Dad, Papa or affectionately known as Bozo because of his clowning around. The family came first and he always put them before himself.

A private Graveside Service will be held at Royal Oak Burial Park where he will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife and daughter.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of British Columbia, www.alzheimer.ca/en/bc.
