James Harold Pierson, 67, of Victoria, BC, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2017 at his home. Born in Montreal, Quebec to Harold and Kathleen Pierson, he moved to Scarborough, Ontario in his youth with his family. James started his family in Lake Dalrymple, Ontario, and from there moved to Victoria, BC, where he has lived for 17 years.
James was extremely loving and proud of his two children, Jaimie Pierson of Victoria, BC and Erin Pierson of Uptergrove, Ontario. James was very happy to meet his newest grandson Van Jameson Williams, son of Erin; he was also Papa James to Arjuna and Indria. James is also survived by his brothers Steve, Michael, and Robert Pierson and his loving sister Nancy Vernon.
James loved to walk and loved the outdoors. He would pass his time with meditation, cooking, watching movies, going out for coffee and playing crib. His favorite pastime was playing with his grandchildren and being with family and friends.
A special thank-you to Tamara and Brice Castle for all their support, love and friendship for James in his last years.
