    Dear Terry,

We fondly remember the care and love Jodi put into Jasper’s birthday party at Henderson Rec, and chatting and laughing with the two of you at another backyard birthday while the Arbutus boys all ran around like crazy. She was such a devoted mom and always a cheerful presence at the kindergarten, and we will certainly miss seeing her there.

Please let us know if there’s any way we can help your family during this difficult time.

All our love and well wishes,
    Ollie, Emily, and Dwayne

Jodi, Terry, and Jasper were our neighbours in Calgary. Jodi and I shared gardening tips, home renovation ideas, trick or treated at each other’s home for wine, went out for dinner to some awesome restaurants, and once Jasper arrived, celebrated the first couple birthdays! We were sad when they moved back to BC, but given Jodi’s health we understood. I have missed Jodi since she moved. Terry and Jasper – Ron and I send our deepest condolences and our hearts are with you. She has been taken much too soon.

Our hearts are heavy, hearing of Jodi’s passing and we want to extend all of our support to Terry and Jasper and their family in these very difficult days. Please know that your community is here to help however we can.

Jodi and I shared a special connection in that our boys are both the same age and are both named Jasper, attending the same preschool and now elementary school together. Jodi always projected a sense of strength and an unwavering positive spirit, focusing on her family – and Jasper – above all else.

We are so very sad for your loss.

Jennifer Kay, Michael, West and Jasper Dingle

Our love and admiration goes to Jodi for her ferocity and will to battle to the end for her loving husband and son. She made the most beautiful birthday cake for Dave on his 65th birthday even though she wasn’t well enough to attend. Her unselfishness has left a beautiful gift and legacy for Terry….Jasper! We know Jodi is in heaven looking over her loved ones. We will miss her and we will help watch over Terry and Jasper. Our hearts are with Jodi, Terry and Jasper. Words cannot express our condolences.

Our condolences to Jodi’s family! I knew Jodi as a neighbour. Just last week she was carefully and lovingly attending to her garden. I had just cut flowers with Jasper at my side. I sent Jasper back with irises to give the flowers to his mom and tell her that she was beautiful. We spoke and she shared her recent health concerns. More than anything, characteristic of conversations of times past, Jodi said to me…” I’m not worried about myself. I know that I will be fine. I’m worried about them…pointing to the inside of the house, of Terry and Jasper, because…they worry soooo much about me!” Jodi was passionate about the love of her family. I still see her smile and hear her words. …that was the Jodi I knew and grew to appreciate and understand. Taken tragically, too soon.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you…Terry and Bev Edwards
