    Dear Jim,
I never met your Dad, but I know that Mom always looked forward to seeing him at your place, so they could commiserate about “old age”. I always enjoyed listening to you telling us the latest happenings about John, with much humor and fondness. We’re very sorry for your loss.

    Dear Elizabeth and family

My most sincere condolences to you and all your family.

Your dear father was a great influence in my life. A very steady gentle kind soul – a gentleman. I worked with him for two years in the early 70’s. I call them my biggest and greatest years. He remained my dentist until he retired. He comes into my thoughts often, yet I have not visited therefore I was glad to have a lovely spontaneous visit in the Parkwood – and hoped to see him again. Yet, the next time he had moved. I have recently thought to call you but did not. This great man, your great father will continue to be part of my life.

    Take care of your hearts.

With my sincere sympathy, Mary (Titerle) Green

Jim, Bill and Elizabeth. So many memories of so many Christmas gatherings from so long ago, in that amazing house of Aunt Ethel’s. When I reflect back on those times I have only happy memories, and your dad and mom were a huge part of that, as were you three. My dad had recorded those events, always in audio, sometimes in video, and the audio recordings were always highlighted by that booming baritone of Uncle John, an unforgettable voice for sure. Unrecorded memories are of your dad and Uncle Curt play fighting for the turkey skin during the carving ritual played out each season at the kitchen cutting board. Seems like yesterday. Please accept my deepest sympathies to you and your families at this time of loss.
