    Steven and family,

I know we haven’t been close; but, you have our sincere sympathy.

  • Helen Haws

Steven and Lori met at St. Peter’s Square in Rome, Italy. This momentous encounter lead to a determined pursuit by Steven of this young, beautiful woman with a passion for life. She agreed to his proposal of marriage and a loving relationship ensued. They had two wonderful children: Nathan who is now 27 and Danica who would have been 28. Their marriage held steadfast through the agonizing loss of a child, taken at 9 years of age. Lori faced life with a positive attitude as Multiple Sclerosis took its vicious claim of her body: her mind and spirit remained joyful. Steven became her caregiver and stood by Lori through trying times.

She has now gone in spirit to be with her Lord.

Steven and Nathan,….at this time of loss, may you be comforted in knowing that she has gone to a place of calm and peace and beauty.

    Our sincerest condolences,
    the Haws Family

Steve and Nathan — what an immense loss for you both. You are an inspiration to us all Steve! Lori truly knew how much you loved her. Well done! And now, Lori is profoundly free, fully alive, and truly home. Meditate on 1Peter 5:7 — “You can throw the whole weight of your anxiety on God, for you are His personal concern”.

To comfort You my dear family friends, Dear Steven and Nathan:
“Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.” John 14:27 Amplified Bible
The Lord’s instructions to you both at this time, is to let God be your hiding place … your resting place. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Rejoice that your beautiful wife – Steve, and your adoring mother – Nathan is now counted as another believer who has entered Heaven. In heaven there is no disease. Lori’s spirit, the entity of who she truly is, is now free from the restraints of the disease that encumbered her here on earth. She is dancing on streets of gold accompanied by your sweet daughter and sister, Danica, who has already proceeded her to Heaven. The God of Love and peace shall be with you …
2 Corinthians 13:11. Rest in His peace, a peace that passes all understanding and feel His unfailing love for you. I pray and believe that you will get through this time with the peace that comes from the knowledge that God loves you, and that He will take care of you.
