Mary will always be lovingly remembered by her daughters, MaryAnn Nelson and Jacqueline Nelson; one grandson, Quinn Nelson; sister-in-law, Anna Cierny; nieces and nephew, Gwen Lechelt, Don Jones, Susan Worobec, Noreen Holt and Coreen Nadeau; and relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Gordon Nelson; parents, Michael and Anna Cierny; sister and brother-in-law, Millie and Cecil Jones; brothers, John Cierny and Ted Cierny; and nephew, Allen Cierny.
Thank you to the many doctors, nurses and home care staff for the care and support given to Mary.
Mary spent most of her life in the Mayerthorpe, Alberta area and always considered it her home. A Celebration of Life will be held in Mayerthorpe in August of 2018.
