Terry passed away with his wife Terresa by his side after a courageous year and a half long battle with IPF.  After months of extensive and gruelling testing, he had finally been placed on the active wait list for a double lung transplant just two weeks ago, but a transplant was not meant to be for Terry.  Life can be very cruel.

Terry is survived and forever loved by his “true love” Terresa, his beloved step-daughter Anna, his brother Lyn and extended family.  He was predeceased by his father, mother and his sister Leigh.

Born in Montreal, Terry worked his way west to BC where he lived for over 35 years,  He was an innovative and extremely talented individual and was proud of his accomplishments in the field of medical sales as well as his contributions to the invention of an Intraosseous Infusion System.  Terry loved to travel and see new things.  Our trips together included cruises and land journeys to Italy, Greece, Turkey, Paris, many US destinations and 6 trips to Mexico, seeing a new area each time.

Terry was an extremely gentle man of quiet strength and courage.  Though often unspoken, he had the ability to convey his love and devotion for us and to leave absolutely no doubt as to his feelings.  He also liked to have a good time, and our memories of Terry are filled of many happy times together and much laughter.

In keeping with Terry’s wishes, there will be no service.  However a celebration of his life will be held at a later date,  In the meantime, please raise a pint to Terry.  Those of you who know him know that he wouldn’t want to be remembered in any other way.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the BC Lung Association.
