Alan was a very close friend of mine for many years. We had our falling outs and we always got back together again and everything was in the past. I knew his parents very well and spent many happy hours talking with Walter about Spitfires and Hurricanes. Alan would do anything for me and the same back for him. I loved to go over to Sporty Bobs and watch him work on Alan’s Harley Davidson. I know that things took a turn for the worst when Alan fell and busted his hip up. Many years at the Crown&I,lots of fun and good times and once again way too young to leave the earth. I have not seen Al for quite some time but I still think of him as one of my best friends and I will always miss him. It’s a shock to find out that he is gone and I will look forward to hearing for a time to get together with family and friends to say hi and give my condolences. Douglas Gaudry
