Annie Irene Horn passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024. She was born on February 2, 1932, in Victoria, British Columbia.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Annie was predeceased by her husband, David Scott Horn, her sisters Ellen Taylor, Joyce Mawdsley, Beverley Tomlinson, son-in-law Ian McMillin, and great-grandson Eric Blackmore. She is survived by her children Jody (Ron) and Debbie, seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Annie worked at Canadian Linen and later at Glendale & Tillicum Lodge until she retired. She and her husband loved to travel and enjoyed many adventures together. She was a devoted Gramma to her many grandchildren and loved taking them camping and road trips. Annie was an active member of the Salvation Army Citadel and loved gardening and spending time with family and friends. Her smile and caring nature will be greatly missed.

A sincere thanks to the staff at Sunset Lodge for the love and wonderful care they provided to Mom.

Annie’s life will be celebrated at the Salvation Army Citadel, 4030 Douglas Street, Victoria on January 25, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the multi-purpose room.
