Betty Holms was born in Victoria, BC on January 8, 1921. She passed comfortably on November 11, 2021.

Predeceased by her husband, Gordon, in 1998; Betty is survived by her daughter Jill Howarth, son Bruce, Grandchildren: Mark (Ashley), Fiona (Jon Tsang), Zoe and Patrick; Great Grandchildren: Sienna and Sawyer.

Betty worked for the BC Government’s travel bureau before marrying her husband in 1947.  Betty enjoyed learning new things (flower arranging and cooking classes), volunteering (Government house and over forty years at the Royal BC Museum), music, and traveling.

We would like to thank Dr. Turpin, Dr. Yvorchuk, and the Comfort Keepers staff for all the support they provided Betty and the family over the years.

A Celebration of Life for Betty will be held in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens on Saturday, January 8, 2022. Proof of Covid vaccination will be required. For those unable to attend in person, a Zoom link will be provided. Please RSVP to BettyH.Celebrationoflife@gmail.com by December 26th, for further service details.
