Dorcas was born on October 15, 1931 in Kolar Gold Fields, India. Dorcas Smith peacefully passed the bounds of earthly life on May 12, 2018. She joins her husband of 52 years, Dr. Cecil Smith, leaving behind her two daughters Suzanne (Garry DeJong) and Sarah. She is yet survived by Stokoe siblings David and John of London, England; Ruth of Kolar Gold Fields, India and Philip of Jakarta, Indonesia.
A Service of Celebration and Remembrance will be held on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at 4:00 pm in Victoria First Church of the Nazarene located at 4277 Quadra Street in Royal Oak.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted on behalf of Camp Imadene, PO Box 374 Mesachie Lake, BC, V0R 2N0.
