I am saddened so much. He was a wonderful man and a dear friend to talk to. He was our doctor for some 40 years
I will miss hearing his dear voice or receiving texts that were always full of support.
    His life was too short

Please accept my deepest sympathy to all of his loved ones and to us as many friends who loved him and cherished his friendship. I first met him in 1989 in Toronto as a patient. He was a extraordinarily talented diagnostician who helped my entire family. We continued to be friends throughout all these years. You will be forever missed, especially your beautiful energy and the way your eyes lit up when you talked about your family. Namaste my dearest friend I valued your friendship and your wisdom so much.

    Met Zeca in 1990,
Dear friend so appreciated and respected how you were able to give space to your Soul so it could be heard and seen as clearly as your mind and emotions. When with you, you saw our essence. Always in tune with the “Gang” (the team of Souls we work with on this journey) & Guides, always moving towards what is best at that moment. You lived your destiny, you lived with passion. You helped us be better. This was an Amazing life, can’t wait to see what you do in the next one. Thank you for being part of the “gang” for so many of us. The richness of your Soul is ever present. Namaste.

Gita, Mia, Helga and others, I send you my heart felt condolences, prayers and love. I am so incredibly sad but also in endless appreciation and gratitude for the greatness of Zeca who taught me so much in the journey of health and and profound friendship. He reminded us that love is love & kindness is clear. As he reiterated: ‘go with the flow and the only way through is through’. Zeca, Rumi must have had you in mind when he wrote “you are not a drop in the ocean but the entire ocean in a drop”. May this new journey be like a million tiny diamonds dancing on liquid glass. You have left a footprint in my heart. Endless Hugs. xo

I feel so blessed and grateful to know Zeca. I spoke with him less than 2 weeks ago and I miss him already. He is so sincere, wise, kind, thoughtful and I was very lucky to have him help me with my health challenges for a few years. He was always there for me and he called me his ‘senior chef’ as I so enjoyed making his favorite italian food and homemade soups like onion, asparagus OR stuffed mushrooms, rapini. It was such a pleasure to hear how he appreciated every bite. Zeca, I know we will meet again. May you and Mara be dancing and smiling and thank you for everything. You are always in my prayers. God bless you Zeca. Love you. xo

We remember that photograph of him on the bridge that very frigid day cheering on the truckers in the convoy on the 401 heading to Ottawa. He was so happy. Even at a time when more than a few tears have been shed by the two of us since his last phone call on March 19 that picture couldn’t fail to bring a small and tentative smile to our faces.

And, that is what made him so very special: he had such eclectic and great enthusiasms.

During the many hours we spent with him as our health advisor for several decades he often spoke with love and great affection of his family in Victoria. It is a comfort to know that you were with him since the horrible diagnosis and in his final hours when, as he might have said, his river of life finally ran into the sea of eternity.

Hopefully somewhere out there our paths may cross again and we will once more hear him say “hello my dears, how are you two lovebirds today” as he used to do when he came into his office at 96 Avenue Road. Darn it, we will really miss him!

To all his family in Victoria, to Helga and to others far more close to his life than us, we offer our deepest condolences and in our small way share in your grief.

I am so glad that you/he? chose that lovely picture to use! He had sent it to me before and I know that he was so full of joy to be out supporting our freedom convoy heading to Ottawa. He was a good friend to me over the years and will be deeply missed. My condolences to his family and loved ones and may we all feel the jubulence and buoyancy of his joy in being liberated which is how he announced his passing to me last week….

Zeka was so much a part of my life and my son Nicks life through so many formative years while we lived in Toronto. He will always be held dear and close in our hearts. I like to think that he is as engaged and curious about this new stage whatever that may be, as he has been throughout his whole life ! My heart is saddened by him no longer being on this plane of existence and we would like to send our love to his family and all those who knew and loved him.
