Emiline, my heart goes out to you at this time of loss. There is no other bond in our lives like the one we have with our Moms. May your memories hold you during the times you feel her loss most. Your mom was always so kind. Our paths crossed a few years ago, and she still remembered me. Love and blessings to you and your family.

    Hello Emiline,
We remember your dear mother with fondness. She was so proud of her daughter and so committed to your dad. We remember the day you came to our house for our child care needs while I was taken to hospital to have our baby. Thank goodness you were available to help us out! We moved away from our home on Casa Marcia a number of years ago. We now live in Nanoose Bay. Our thoughts are with you as you grieve the loss of your lovely mother. With our sympathy to you and your family. Tom and Shirley Brown

I have so many joyful memories of Elsie. Learning to make Iris Folded cards from her was so fun. Early morning walks with her in the my first years on the Crescent were always an adventure. Her love of art, flower arrangement, and reading were among the many interests she shared. Her friendship will be keenly missed. Casa Marcia won’t be the same without Elsie.

    To Elsie’s Family.
Our dear Elsie was a ‘mainstay’ and dedicated member of the Flower Guild. I was so very fond of her. We shared many memories around flowers; our time together in Boston at the World Flower Show in 2011 was certainly a highlight. I’m sending my sincere condolences but I hope to speak to you all personally at her service tomorrow. I will miss her. JOEL FAIR

I have known Elsie all my life. As children we played together, went on vacations together and even got into trouble together. Elsie lived in our home for a year during high school. She was not only a cousin but like a sister. Elsie was so gifted in the arts. She was a home-economics teacher and a great hostess. It was special to be in her home as she prepared a special meal and made the table look like a work of art. Elsie was blessed with the ability of friendship. She had so many friends and acquaintances she faithfully kept in touch with. She will be missed by all of us. I will miss visiting Victoria and spending time with Elsie.
