Evelyn was born on December 22, 1934 in Medicine Hat, Alberta. She passed away peacefully on October 16, 2021 in Victoria, BC. Evelyn was predeceased by her parents, George and Alice (nee Wenner) Goldie; husband DeLoy Layton; son Laurence; and grandson James.
Evelyn is survived by her husband Frank Robert Golob; her children: Sandra, Sherwood, SaraLynn, Shannon and families; and her brothers, Malcolm (Anne) Goldie of Edson, Alberta and David (Joan) Goldie of Abbotsford, BC.
Evelyn was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, for over 65 years. A Private family service will be held.
