My deepest sympathy on your loss.

Thinking of you all my dearest Auntie Jo and cousins Susan, Jill and Caroline. Another star in the sky to sparkle and shine. Uncle Geoff you are a legend. Love you.

  • Sandi Nielsen

My child attended the Cridge from baby to age 5, a wonderful experience every moment. Made even more wonderful by a kindly gentleman who we nicknamed “Sir” who would always take the time to greet and interact with the children. His hatred of vegetables is still remembered at our dinner table to this day. What a lovely person.

  • Sherri Gagnon (nee Oman)

My deepest sympathies; some of my fondest childhood memories was growing up with all of you. Your dad was always very kind to me, his sense of humour will be missed.

Mentor, friend. Geoff taught me so much that I carry with me in leadership to this day. While he might try to present a courteous but slightly reserved exterior at times, you could melt him into jello with a genuinely offered hug. He didn’t have time for veggies, excuses or fools. Observant, wise, canny, loyal and devoted. He regarded young people who worked hard with respect and affection, pulling their best out of them, given willingly out of their desire to not let him down.
Geoff will be long remembered at The Cridge Centre for the Family, and will always be held in my heart as a beloved friend. My tender condolences to those he held most dear – family.

    Harris Family,
I am so incredibly sorry for this monumental loss. I had the great fortune of working with Geoff for years at The Cridge, and so valued his wisdom, humour and kindness. We teased each other often (“When I was a kid, we had a cement pad to play on!” when I was trying to get him to approve funding for new playground equipment) – particularly over his dietary habits which provided me with no end of giggles.
A love like he had for you all can never be replaced and will, of course, leave a vast hole in your lives for which I offer my sincerest condolences.
    Sarah Smith
