Gordon left an indelible mark on our lives in so many ways. I will always appreciate his firm, kind leadership as he steered Ladysmith Church through some rough patches, and am so grateful for his respectful listening ear: even when we did not always agree. Blessings, Sonja on the path ahead: Godspeed Gordon.

    Sonja and family,
I’m very sorry to hear about Gordie’s passing. Gordie and I were part of the first forestry department in BCFP’s new Elk River Division. We had lots of great conversations driving around the division, he was a sincere and thoughtful person and I learned a lot from him. My thoughts are with you.

To Sonja, Wendy, David, and all of Gord’s family,
So sorry to hear of Gordie’s passing. He was a kind and thoughtful man; someone with wisdom and approachability; without a doubt, the best boss I ever worked for. We worked together for BCFP out of Campbell River, and he modelled the kind of leadership we all can aspire to. His family was so important to him, and the world became a better place because of his caring and integrity.

May your many happy memories be a comfort to you.

    Hi Sonja and families
So glad to be part of the zoom funeral service.
It was good to see the families and their grown up kids.
So thankful for the legacy he has left and the good memories made over the years!
So thankful for the years we have known you and in your small group….so long ago.
Still remember the scripture we memorized and the good book studies.
Gordon is with His Lord and Saviour…..love the verse 2Timothy 4:7-8.
He is also with my dad in heaven and they are together with Jesus….wow…..what a day that will be.
I love these verses and find comfort in them too.
Praying for you and your families!
    Hugs
    Ross and Kerri
