With profound sadness, we announce the death of our beautiful, vivacious Mom who passed away peacefully on August 12th, 2018. She was born in Montreal on July 11th, 1926 and lived there for 45 years. After graduating from the University of Vermont with a BSc in Home Economics, majoring in Textiles, she moved to Victoria in 1972 and worked in the Jewellery Dept. at Eaton’s for ten years.
She belonged to the Royal Victoria Golf Club and the Oak Bay Monterey Senior Centre. She was a world traveller and enjoyed playing bridge and reading. Predeceased by her eldest son Randy in 1985 and daughter Wendy in 2017. She will be fondly remembered by her son Gary Sheppard, Wendy’s husband Jeff Dubois and her five grandsons Shawn and Daniel Dubois, Gregory, Philip and Tyler Sheppard.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 15th, 2018 at 1025 Inverness Road between 1:00 pm-3: 00 pm.

Marge Macdonald Our days are quite a bit duller, and not as much fun since we lost our friend Gwendolyn. We never knew what she would tell us about her day, or what was going on in her world, but she always made us laugh. She was just such a wonderful lady, and you were such a fortunate family to have her in your lives.
She was the Auntie Mame of Berwick House, and she is definitely missed.

Gwen was my neighbour at Kensington Terrace for as long as I can remember. She was always kind and so cheerful.
