Hanne was a great friend to my husband Ed which began during their working years at North Saanich Municipality. We both enjoyed many visits to the farm with Jan and Hanne. It was a lovely place for Ed to keep some of his bee hives, for my oldest grandchild to sit on a tractor and for him to experience some of the many birds they raised, visit with the puppies and check out what was growing in the greenhouses and garden. Hanne was always so positive and yes she did have a great laugh. I am sorry I was unable to come to her memorial.

My sincere condolences to all Hanne’s family. I might not have known her for a long time but she became a very special friend who will be missed. She will always have a special place in my heart.

    Dear Cousins, Charlene and Denice..
The memories of our childhood, were not many, but I cherish them.
We laughed a lot and had fun. Your mom, my aunt, was always warm, sweet and welcoming with memorable hugs. My regret is being too occupied to spend more time with all of you. We have all been blessed with the legacy of our beautiful children and fond memories. I wish to be with you today, but yet again, this life with children keeps me busy. My son is playing his final game today. I’m sure Auntie Hanne, my Dad, Farmor and Farfar will be there to cheer him on. I will be thinking of you and hope the day brings you peace, love and comfort.
I hope to see you soon, maybe at the lake again!
Love and big hugs to you both.

    Dear girls

On behalf of the Larsen part of the family back in Denmark, I am truely sorry to hear about your loss. It seems that cancer once again takes away a loved member of the Larsen gang. I do however hope that Hanne passed peacefully in a manner that brough all of you peace. I remember visting Victoria and spending time with Hanne, Jakob and their families in 1998 and having the time of my life. It is an experience that will always stay with me.
