Nancy Davis Over the years we have all had wonderful “chats” with Joan during her visits to Murchie’s Tea and Coffee. She was a remarkable woman, always stylishly dressed and very proud of her family.
We will miss her and our thoughts are with you all.

Teresa and Henry #107 Dear Duncan and Valerie
Was very saddened to hear of your Mom’s passing. She will MISSED by friends and neighbors here. I always enjoyed to hear her stories of the earlier days of ” Hilda Street”. And I very much respected her opinions – in many ways she was a women much ahead of her times. She always “said” what she meant AND did what she “said”. This may be old fashion, but now – SUDDENLY – for women it seems to be a huge movement! I will always try to endeavor to do the same in her memory. She was a truly intelligent LADY. I do miss her. She gave me wise council and we also had a good chuckle now and then.
Duncan and Valerie, I do hope to attend on Friday.
May your memories bring you both comfort — Teresa
