With sadness and relief, his family announces that Ian passed peacefully into the presence of his Saviour and Lord on July 9, 2017, at home and surrounded by his family. Born on June 11, 1928, in Victoria, B.C., son of the late Hubert and Audrey Munday. Much loved father of Geoff (Victoria), Gwen, and Doug (Jackie); loving grampa to Fritha, Liam and Zachary. Predeceased by his dearly loved wife of 55 years, Mavis, in 2011; brother Peter in 1941. Survived by sister Jenifer (Philip) Butterfield, nephew Nicholas and niece Victoria Butterfield, son-in-law Doug Zado.
Private family interment at Royal Oak Burial Park at 12:00pm on Monday, July 17, 2017.
A service of memorial and thanksgiving will be held at Central Baptist Church on Monday, July 17, at 1:30pm.
