It is with deep sadness our family announces the passing of our dear Mom.

Ieoline was born in Halifax, NS to the naval family of Alfred and Florence Clements.  The family was transferred to Victoria when she was a child where she grew up in Oak Bay just blocks from Willows Beach.

After high school, Ieoline went to Secretarial School.  She applied her talents during a short posting in the Canadian Air Force back east.  She returned to Victoria to marry Sandy Grant in 1955.  Together they enjoyed the sun and sand of Hawaii and many fun-filled trips to Disneyland.  Ieoline was a dedicated homemaker – raising their 3 daughters.  Later, she took great delight in her 3 grandchildren.

Ieoline had an artistic talent that was expressed in her many creations.  She demonstrated kindness of spirit, sensitivity to others, and a generous heart. She was known for giving others “just a little something.”

Her faith in Jesus Christ was steadfast.  She enjoyed her church fellowship, activities, and worship.  Ieoline travelled 3 times to Israel – reflecting her deep love and support for the people of Israel.

Ieoline was predeceased by her husband, sister and two brothers.  She leaves behind her daughters Laurie (Rune), Jody, Carrie (David); grandchildren Nicole (Corey), Matthew, Brayden; including John and Rachel; extended family and loving friends.

Such a loving tender person. She was of a similar mind as my mother Reidun Anderssen. I distinctly remember her sweet sweet smile .

So sorry. She was such a wonderful woman, loved talking to her for she had a loving heart and a listening ear. I shall see her again, when I too will exit this world and meet her beyond the pearly gates. Rest in peace dear friend, I will miss you.

Dear Jody, Laurie, and Carrie, and families.
It was a true blessing to have known your Mom. She was such kind and gentle soul. She always thought of others before herself. I will miss her very much as she could always make me smile and laugh. Every time I will see a fluffy white cloud I will think of her. She is so loved and will be missed a great deal. She is a peace now. She was so proud of her family. I love this photo of her, you can see her spirit in the twinkling of her eyes. God Bless her and all her family at this most difficult of times. With much love Angela (Pearson)
