Jim and Betty enjoyed many years together, camping, hunting, fishing, boating and bird watching. He was a Past President of Victoria Gun Club, past member of Victoria Fish and Game and Rangers Gun Club. In retirement, while living in Courtenay, he started wood carving, creating many amazing birds and mammals for family and friends. Jim enjoyed his last 5 years residing in the Wellesley retirement home here in Victoria, where he received excellent care. His infectious smile and story telling will be greatly missed by all.
