Jennifer was surrounded by her loved ones when she passed away peacefully on October 25, 2020 in Victoria, BC.  She was born on October 29, 1951 in Hong Kong.  Jennifer is survived by her husband Henry; her children Michelle and Aaron, her son-in-law Alex and daughter-in-law Yuki; her siblings Elaine and Jonny; her sister-in-law Irene and brother-in-law Sam; her nephews Jason and Thomas; her niece Jessica; and her grandnieces Makena, Brooklyn, Ellie and Pippa. With a smile like the sunshine and a heart of gold, Jennifer will be missed by many of her friends and relatives.

After high school, Jennifer graduated at the top of her class from the Kiang Wu Nursing College in Macau, China.  She eventually immigrated to Canada in 1975 in order to start a life with Henry, who had moved there the previous year.  Henry and Jennifer married in 1980. Jennifer worked as a nurse at Mount St. Mary Hospital and continued to work as a nurse in Toronto, ON after they moved there in 1988.

In 1993, Jennifer and Henry moved back to Victoria, BC to own and operate Ming’s Restaurant until retirement in 2015.  After retirement, Henry and Jennifer actively travelled the world and spent lots of time with family and friends.  Jennifer found most joy in spending time with family and friends, sampling delicious foods and honing her keen fashion sense.

Life is a serious gift and by the way of some miraculous bonus we were gifted times spent with ah Mo.
We are certainly sad that she will no longer be able to be with us physically, but we also take comfort in knowing that her beautiful soul and positive energy will continue to live on in the lives and memories of everyone she has touched.

    Take good care, love always.
