Painting with the members of the Victoria Sketch Club just won`t be the same without that distinctive, cheerful voice of Joan’s. I shall miss her and her faithful David.

  • Charon Hill

For many years, it has been a privilege to frame Joan’s watercolours, at Prestige Picture Framing.
The joy she put into each piece showed the vibrant passionate pleasure she had while painting.
David was always such a big help and so supportive of Joan’s work. Her laugh was so infectious to everyone around her.
Blessings on the family, Charon Hill

Dear David and family, I will miss Joan in our Sketch Club and her wonderful happy nature. She enjoyed her painting so much and produced some wonderful water colour paintings. We had some good times together in our outings and paint outs especially I remember going to your place in Cowhican Bay one fall paint out and painting out in the orchard. Joan was so generous in so many ways to all of us. We will all miss her very much.

To David and the rest of the family (whom I have not had the pleasure of meeting) I include my condolences with the rest of the Victoria Sketch Club’s about the passing of Joan. She was a lovely, fun loving member of our club and while I have only known her for the past 15 years, she seemed to enjoy attending and being a part of the crowd. She had a good long life and you can all be thankful for that.
