Dear Cynthya, Vivian, Brian and Verne and families,

I am sorry for your loss of Jocelyn (Joy). I met your mom when we were both serving on a Regional Advisory Committee to the Ministry of Human Resources in the early 1970s.

She was such a lovely, bright and good woman. We got to know each other better as we attended the meetings together. She introduced me to Lou Jordison, Dorothy (Dot) Racine, and others involved in the community. This began for me a life long involvement with the Hillside-Quadra neighbourhood.

I know her children were most important to her and I am sure she enjoyed so many grandchildren and great grandchildren – nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

My condolences to you and all of your family and her friends.
    With love,
    Leni (Hoover)

I am one of Joyce Dunn’s many Grandchildren , Nana was a loving , caring, strong woman and always wanted the best for all of us, she lived a long life and was loved by many and will be missed by many. I wish that I had spent more time with her and I wish I got to say good bye so Nana / Granny Apple this is only bye bye for now until the day comes that I too leave this world and make my way to a even beautifuler world , that will be the day we will be reunited, and knowing that you lived a long life and you left us peacefully and that you were guided on your way makes it not as hard going through with the pain of losing you, but I smile knowing your in the good place and no longer in pain and in peace ….
