I’ve attempted to get in touch with the Hunters over the last few years and am so sorry to have found Mr. Hunter’s obituary. I’m a few months too late. My deepest condolences to Mrs. Hunter, Jane, and Debbie. We were neighbours in Montreal and I remember fond trips to the lake where he taught me to water ski. The cigars in the car were a little hard to handle! I’m so sorry for your loss.

I’m very sorry for your loss, he was so generous and lovely to know.

Jack was one of the nicest people I have ever met. He was kind, thoughtful, fiercely intelligent and fun. I have very happy memories of his and Joan’s visits to the UK after their many trips abroad and they made myself and my family so welcome when we visited them in Victoria. And Jack made a mean martini! He will be missed.

Loved hearing about yours and Auntie Joan’s adventures!
