WONG, Julie – Succumbed to cancer and passed away in peace on Tuesday, July 15, 2003 at Hospice. Born in Victoria, BC, February 15, 1961. Predeceased by her father, Danny in 2000, she is survived by her loving husband, Wally Mutch; mother, Lai Kin and four brothers, Henry (Evelyn, Kendra, Bryce and Logan), Bak (Kob), Jim (Tess, Justin and Tessa), Jeff (Sujin, Natalie); her mother-in-law, Loretta (Bert) Mason; sisters-in-law, Jacquie Pullen, Shelley (Doug) Thorsteinson and their children. Julie will also be missed by her long time friends, Claire, Debbie and Cheryl.
Julie was employed by the BC Government for many years and was an active sportswoman involved in many sports events both as a participant and volunteer. Our grateful thanks to the caring staff at Hospice, their help made it easier for all of us.
A memorial service will be held at McCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson and Vancouver Streets on Saturday, July 19, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow in the Graham and Torrey McCall Family Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice or to Cancer Research.
