Our beloved Ken died very suddenly on the morning of March 3rd, 2025, his parents by his side at Royal Jubilee Hospital. He is tenderly missed by his Mum and Dad Sharon and Alvin, big brother Brian, his aunt and uncle, Karen Stephens and Mark Collins, many Stennes aunts, uncles and cousins and his special “sister equivalent”, Lisa Maxwell and her sons in Scotland.

Ken attended schools in Oak Bay and graduated in 1986. He formed many long-term friendships lasting through his life. He was a significant member of the team at Atlas Audio Video Unlimited for over thirty years – his shoes will be challenging to fill!

Ken was known for his humour and quick wit and also for his quiet compassion and understanding.
He loved motorcycles and proudly owned several over the years. He experienced great camaraderie on many rides and holidays with other enthusiasts.

Ken leaves an empty chair at our dinner table, however our hearts overflow with love, appreciation for the man he’d become, and loads of happy memories.  He is painfully missed by his immediate family and by his many colleagues, and friends.

Ride on Dear One.

A Celebration of Ken’s Life will be held in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC, on Saturday, June 14th, 2025 at 2:00pm, with the Reverend Shelagh MacKinnon officiating. A Reception will follow the Service.

Donations in Ken’s memory can be made to Royal Jubilee Hospital, Medical Imaging. Condolences to Ken’s family may be made below.
