Lawrence Morrell Muirhead passed away on July 19, 2018 in Victoria, BC. Larry passed away on his own terms with the assistance of Dr. Stephanie Green, along with Stephanie’s nurse, Craig. The family would like to thank Dr. Green and Craig for their compassion and professionalism in carrying out our father’s wishes.
His wife Jean Alba Margaret predeceased Larry. He is survived by his sister, Diane; his children, Margo (Robert), Pam and Greg (Liane); grandchildren, Adryon (Daniel), Andrew (Jessica), Sean (Marina), Patrick (Marisa) and Amelia; great-grandchildren, Piper, Aiden and Ava.
Larry and Jean were married in 1961. Larry was in the Air Force at the time. He then worked at CBC in Winnipeg before moving to Toronto where he worked for Ampex and then CTV. In 1979, they moved to Vancouver and started Gastown Post and Transfer with Robert Campbell. Larry and Jean enjoyed their retirement in Kelowna at Gallagher’s Canyon.

Faye Acton Uncle Larry was a supportive loving person. Aunt Jean and Uncle Larry did not hesitate to give me a place to live while going to school in Toronto. Time drew us apart but they have always been in my heart and thoughts.
