It is will great sadness that my twin sister Lorna has passed away.  She had an incredible spirit which inspired others.  She loved life and she had a strong faith which sustained her in her journey in life.

Many heartfelt thanks to the Renal Dialysis Unit at the Royal Jubilee Hospital.  To the incredible doctors, nurses and technicians who service the life-saving machines.  They are a special group of people.  God Bless you all for the additional years we had together.  Donations to the Kidney Foundation appreciated.

Condolences may be offered to the family below.

My heart will always be fuller, having known Lorna. I miss you’re heart, so much.
Linda, your dedication as a person and sister, exemplify what family and living life are all about

Lorna was an inspiration to me and ALL the staff in the renal unit. It was always an honour to be assigned to her for that day. She was spiritual but never felt a need to convince you to take on her belief. She was always asking about my family and our Jewish heritage. As well she was concerned for others in the unit while minimizing her own challenges. Many patients have asked about her and clearly her death is felt by staff and patients alike in the renal unit.
She was forever grateful to Linda and I was forever in awe of their special bond. May her memory be a blessing to Linda especially and those closest to her.

Lorna was such a great example to all of us at the Latin Mass Comunity of Our Lady Queen of Peace parish. She always had such a cheerful disposition in spite of the difficulties of just getting to Mass A lady of great faith. We will miss her and she will continue to remain in our prayers.

It was with sadness that I saw dear Lorna’s face in the obituaries. It is many years since we had connected but I remember fondly sharing an apartment with her in Coquitlam as we both attended Simon Fraser. She was such a bright spot in my life, and I will always remember her with love.
I am sending my condolences and fond memories to you all.
Doneen Head was my name way back then.

    Dear Linda,
I was so saddened to hear of Lorna’s death. You are in our hearts as you mourn her. You have been an exemplary caregiver and she was so blessed to have you in her life. It will be a lonely time after all the years you have been each other’s constant companions. I will pass this message on to the others in B-65 who will also mourn for Lorna. I hope you can join us for future class get-togethers once Covid is over.
    Much Love and Blessings,
    Ruth (Hamill) Marshall
