Margaret Elizabeth Anne (Betty) Maurice was born in Charlottetown PEI, at home, on New Year’s Day 1935, to Dr. Linus and Isadora (Gallant) Smith, and died at Victoria (BC) Hospice, on the 22nd of June 2021. She trained at the Charlottetown Hospital, and nursed in PEI, Manitoba, Alberta and BC. She moved to BC in 1968.
She loved life. Betty is survived by her husband Claude, sister Catherine Hennessey, five nieces and one nephew. She was pre-deceased by her sisters Mary-Claire Carlson and Patricia Bosire. No service. Cremation.
