Maria died peacefully on November 30, 2017 in Victoria, BC.  She was born on May 13, 1920 in Pico, Azores.

Predeceased by her husband, Manuel and son, Jose Humberto.  Maria is survived by her children, Duarte, John and Maria Moura, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Maria enjoyed the love of her family deeply and was loved by all that she encountered.

Prayers will be held at Our Lady of Fatima on Sunday, December 3rd, 2017 at 6:00 pm.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Fatima on Monday, December 4th, 2017 at 11:30 am.
