My deepest sympathies to Shannon, and to his son Michael Jr. and daughter Angela. Mike was a wonderful neighbour, work colleague and hockey teammate. We worked together and were neighbours for over twenty-five years. He was a very capable air traffic controller and performed his duties admirably even with large workloads. Mike could always be counted on and was a ever dependable. He will be missed.

I agree that he was a very decent guy and regarded him highly during our marriage. I still thought well of him after our divorce. He was a good Dad also. Yes, Mike was able to fix or build anything. So sad for our children, Michael and Angela. They wish they could have known he was so ill and had a chance to say goodbye. Rest In Peace, dear Mike.

I was so very sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. We played hockey together mostly as opposing goalies! I knew if Mike was at the other end things wouldn’t end up well for our team. A genuinely nice guy. Gone too soon like all the good ones. Rest In Peace Mike

My Deepest Sympathies Shannon and Family. I worked with Mike in Victoria Tower and always enjoyed working with him. I learned from him, as a younger Controller in my training, valuable teachings that made me successful in my training. I also played hockey with Mike who as our goaltender always played hard. I will for sure always remember his smile and friendship.
