Passed peacefully in rest with family by her side.

“Miss me, but do not grieve.

I’ve left my body and I’m now a “free spirit”.

I’m in the wind and with the birds, high up in the clouds.

My spirit will be with the bees and the butterflies among the flowers.

I am an invisible spirit loving my dear ones from above.”

                                                                  ~Mildred Bond.

Known as Mil, Auntie Mil, Mrs. B., Mum and Grammie.

With a lovely smile and a happy, practical presence, she was easy and wonderful to spend time with and always wanted to hear about ‘you.’  She had the unique ability to make you feel important and special.

Spending time with her family, especially grandchildren and great-grandchildren was very special to her.  Reading and walking to admire nature, were her quiet enjoyments. She had fun caring for her pet ducks and birds, baking and working in her garden.  She met many of her friends golfing, bowling and playing bridge. She always loved being active.

Mildred was predeceased by her loving husband, Philip Bond.

She is loved and survived by her sons David (Michele) and Rick, granddaughters Kristen (Carlos) and Kyrie (Doug), great-grandchildren Gabriela, Olivia, Ava and Jaxon, as well as her nieces Linda, Lois, Sherry, Bev and nephew Cameron.

She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

At her request, there will be no funeral. A walk in the trees, listening to the birds and the wind or a quiet moment in a garden, are wonderful ways to pay your respects.

Special thank you to the staff at Luther Court for the loving care they provided.

Condolences may be offered to the family below.

Dearest Auntie Mil, Thank you for waiting until I got there so we could say goodbye. xx I know you are happy and relieved to finally be where you are. Missing my visits to have tea with a “small” sized goodie for you or one of your great muffins. Our fun car adventures to brighten up the day although too few. Will always be grateful for our time together and your being my Auntie Mil. Forever in my heart. Lots of love, Bev xx
Condolences to my cousins, David(Michele) & Rick and all the family. Bev
