A brief but intense battle with cancer ended on the eve of the April 8th, 2021. Nelson loved his work and the good life.  If you wanted to talk real estate or cruises, you’d find a soul brother in him. When Nelson walked into a room, he stole the spotlight and his infectious laughter ensured good cheer. He was an entrepreneur, sports and community volunteer and family patriarch. He will be missed by Jean Bath, his wife of 53 years, sons Nelson (Sandra) and Gregory (Teresa) but now reunites with son Lawrence (Niurka) who he’ll meet with up high. He’ll also be missed by his grand kids Nathan, Deidre, Anaya, Emily, Bruce and Michael.  In accordance with provincial law, those wishing to attend the Graveside service on Thursday, April 15th, 2021 can request invitation at nelsonsfuneral@gmail.com.

Jean, I just heard the news of Nelson. I met him through you and enjoyed his wit and that sense that wherever he was, all was right with the world. I send you and your family my deepest sympathies.

    Jean and family,
So sorry to hear of your loss. Nelson was so full of life, that it is hard to think of him gone. I have lovely memories of times spent with you both in Ontario and in Victoria. May the wonderful memories sustain you at this time.

Dear Jean and family, We were saddened to hear of Nelson’s passing. We have lots of good memories of the years our sons all played lacrosse together. You both, along with us, attended most of these games and it was a pleasure to have been associated with your family.
We remember Nelson’s great smile whenever we saw him.

    Regards,
    Duck, Sharon and family
