It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Pamela early on December 5th, 2018.  Predeceased by her husband, Wilfred, and her son, Lyle; Pam leaves behind her daughter, Valerie Adam; grandchildren, Genevieve (David) Burns, Gareth Adam, Matt and Nick Wesley; great-grandchildren, Ava and Dashiell Burns.  As well as crossword companion Daniel Allen; many nieces and nephews, sister Valerie Reypert; Robert Adam and Patti Williams; and her beloved cat Mr. Dixie.

Pamela was born in London, England to Edith and Hubert Holland.  She grew up during the WWII bombing of London which shaped her strong no-nonsense approach to life.  She came to Canada as a war bride in 1947 and began her adventure living, working and raising a family in her new country.  Pam worked at various jobs throughout her life mainly in the field of accounts payable.  Her last place of work was for the Province of BC, Ministry of Health.  She was a talented seamstress and an avid gardener spending many hours in her formal Rose garden and unspoiled woodland meadow.  Pam was also a beautiful hand quilter and member of the Victoria Quilter’s Guild.

A Celebration of Pam’s Life will be held in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
