Pamela died peacefully on December 5, 2020, after living a life filled with amazing moments, adventure, happiness, joy, sorrow, wonderful animals, family and friends. She was born March 14th, 1924 in London, England.

Predeceased by her son Martin in 1975, husband Donald in 1976 and husband Jack in 2013. Pamela is survived by her grandchildren, Sara (Simon) Lee and Martin (Theresa) Blake; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Ethan Blake, Amelia and Keira Lee; and daughter-in-law Suzanne (Tom) Blake.

Pamela and Donald married in London in 1943, he a dashing Captain in the Canadian Army and she a beautiful young member of the British Women’s Auxiliary Air Force. Love at first sight turned to wedding bells, before Pamela decamped London for Lethbridge, AB with their newborn son, awaiting her husband’s return from the war. After raising their son in Lethbridge, they moved to Toronto and subsequently to Vancouver to retire. This dream was interrupted with the sudden passing of Donald.

Happiness was not to be taken, as Pamela met Jack (Lt. Col) Reynolds, falling deeply in love, he too overcoming the loss of his wife. They retired in Saanichton, BC on an idyllic piece of property, dubbed ‘Tulisaan’. They enjoyed sailing, horseback riding, tennis, gardening and their local community, along with many friends. Pamela’s greatest pleasure was experiencing all that life brought her, and making wonderful moments happen.

A Celebration of Pamela’s life will be held at a later date, with details to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC SPCA, Victoria Branch, 3150 Napier Ln, Victoria, BC V8T 4V5 or www.spca.ca/donations/victoria/
