Hello. I just learned of Phil Dagger’s passing this past September 2023 and wanted to take a moment to express my condolences to his dear family, and to further comment on what a wonderful person Phil was. I met Phil in 1976 at the University of Guelph at a pub night. We hung out together through 76/77. At this time Phil had just immigrated to Canada. He would have been about the age of 25. He had a wonderful rich accent and was ready and eager to take on the career as a chef. He was loving, kind, respectful, protective, generous and much fun to be with. I feel sad that I was not able to “find” Phil online when I tried a few years ago so that I could express to him my deep gratitude for having known him. I am happy that he was able to fulfill his dreams and that he was surrounded by an abundance of love and thoughtful caring people. Rest In Peace Phil ❤️
With love from Susan Bober (nee Sobolewski)
