    Chris,
In the few times that we have had the pleasure of meeting your father he was always a gentle man and a gentleman. In our conversations his personal touch came through, as did his professionalism in our discussions. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.

    Dear Chris,

I read with sadness the notice of your dad’s death. I have fond memories of our quiet talks together, the 3 of us, at the Club, and know how devoted you were to your Dad’s bidding and advice. He was a sage old conservative guy , ( in my association with him ), and always pleasantly measured in his demeanor. Everything about him suggested a hard-working and honest man who you knew would play it straight with you in any transactions. We need more like him. You seemed always attentive to his knowledge and experience and I hope your time as his protege is showing its rewards. I wish you all the best in these sad times and look forward to the time we can meet again and drink an appreciative toast to your father, a worthy gentlemen. Rob d’Estrube
