Our Mom passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years, Gordon. She leaves behind her children, Ross (Lynn) and Deb (Dave); precious grandchildren, Robert and Natalie(Violet), Trent and Taryn (Audrey and Evelyn), Curtis and Hanna,  Sydney and Jeremy, and Derek.

Bobbie was born and raised in Victoria, BC and spent her childhood at Butchart Gardens where her father, Bob was the head gardener. This began her lifelong love of flowers. She graduated from Royal Jubilee School of Nursing in 1952 and remained a life member of RJH alumni. Mom worked as a nurse in a variety of fields for over 35 years. She cherished the friendships with her classmates and special friends. Retirement activities included a passion for sewing and she delighted many new moms with her “Bobbie’s bibs”.

No Service or flowers by request.

Donations can be made to the Victoria Hospital Foundation for the Pemberton Memorial Chapel and Gardens. The chapel held a special place in her heart.

    To all the family,
We were sorry to hear of Bobbie’s passing. She was a lovely lady and will be missed so much. Thelma remembers with great fondness all the parties and events our parents used to attend together and the wonderful times they had since the early days at Shell Oil.
    Our sympathy to you all.

    Sincerely,
    The Riach Family

  • Louise (March) & Ron Muir

Our deepest sympathy to all the family. My parents (Ab & Thelma March) were good friends of Bobbie & Gordie and we got to know them when we moved into the Parklands area. Always enjoyed chatting with them when we were out for our walks. Bobbie was a wonderful beautiful lady.

  • Doug and Bev Skillings

    Dear Ross, Deb and families
Doug and I would like to offer our sincere condolences to you all. We have known your Mom and Dad for over 50 years, dating back to our Nanaimo days, and Shell Canada. We were also friends with Ted and Nancy Pearson so saw Bobbie and Gordie from time to time there. We subsequently move to Victoria and were able to see a wee bit more of them.
Your Mom and Dad were the epitome of gentle loving and kind friends and we were so sad at the passing of your Dad. Doug called him from time to time so they could catch up and have some chuckles.I only saw your Mom a few times at the Berwick but she still had that infectious and lovely laugh that I can conjure up as I write this. We have many lovely memories that we will always cherish.
Respectfully and Sincerely Doug and Bev Skillings
