Roy passed away peacefully on Feb 7, 2021 and now joins his wife Lois and his three sons. He was 87 and lead a healthy, active life.
Roy was a true gentleman with a kind and loving heart, a good sense of humour and always liked a good laugh! He loved nature and being outdoors hunting and fishing. He was passionate about fishing and he was very accomplished at it. Roy had a lifetime of fishing and was in his 70’s when he shared reeling in a 46 pounder off the flagpole in Victoria.
Predeceased by his wife Lois and sons Wayne, Gary and Robert, brothers Ron and Ralph. Survived by brother Ray (Vivian), sisters-in-law Marie (Ron) and Gloria (Ralph) and many nieces and nephews. Roy will be greatly missed by his many friends and family. Thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital, as well as the home care workers who supported him.
At Roy’s request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations can be made to Muscular Dystrophy Canada. Condolences may be offered to the family below.
