I have many good memories of Aunt Ruth. The most recent one being at the hospital when she introduced me to her doctor as my niece. Ruth has always welcomed me into the family since I first became a Hill. Ruth was always happy for us to pop in for a visit on Summit. She invited us up to the lake for some lovely swimming. Her heart has always been open. She will be missed. I am so sad for the family with her loss. May God hold you all close at this time. I pray his blessing on you. May this be a time of remembering all the sharing and love that was Ruth.

“In my Father’s House there are many mansions….” “I go to prepare a place for you.”. John 14:2. My dear friend, Ruth, when I think back about all our silly antics and all the laughter we shared over these past 30 plus years, it truly puts a warm smile on my heart. You take a part of me with you. I will miss you, until we meet once more. BFF’S Forever. XOXO Catherine ❤

    Nelson and family-

We met during the good times at Transit when we both worked the night shift. You being a bit more senior than me, got to retire and in time move over the malahat. I recall meeting Ruth at the annual Safety Dinners but to be honest, these functions were and still are a blur. Way too many speeches and not enough socializing

Am saddened by your loss. Take care
